Lorna Caddy and Steven Hudson take on new roles with reputation management specialists
Himsworth Scott, a leading reputation management law firm announces that it has promoted Lorna Caddy to Director and hired Steven Hudson – both experienced and respected specialists in their fields.
Lorna is an experienced intellectual property and media lawyer. Her appointment brings the number of Directors at the firm up to four. The firm has also hired Steven Hudson – a media and information lawyer – who previously worked with the firm’s founders at Schillings and more recently has worked at Harbottle & Lewis.

Lorna has in-depth experience, advising media and IP rich businesses on a range of issues, including the protection, exploitation and enforcement of their intellectual property rights and data. Her work in these areas led to recognition in 2010 by The Lawyer magazine as one of “the most talented and promising legal practitioners at work today”. She has also featured regularly on the BBC and publications such as Entertainment Law Review and World Intellectual Property Review. Prior to joining Himsworth Scott, she spent 13 years at Taylor Wessing, where she worked for several leading publishers and high net worth clients around the world.

Prior to Steven’s move, he spent over a decade practising at leading media, sport and entertainment law firms Schillings, more recently, Harbottle & Lewis. During this time, he has worked with a range of private and corporate clients helping them to protect their reputations and privacy of their information by taking both proactive and reactive steps in order to achieve their objectives. His work mainly revolves around defamation, privacy, data protection, confidence and harassment. The work he has undertaken in the Middle East, across Europe and in the UK means he is at the forefront of litigation safeguarding clients’ reputations.
He is recognised by Legal 500 as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ in the field of Reputation Management.
